We were in San Miguel de Allende for a family wedding and GoCarlosTours was recommended as a transportation company and a tour company. We were incredibly satisfied with the experience. From our trips to and from the airport in Leon to our two days of guided tours (full days from SMA to Guanajuato and from SMA to Queretaro) all led by Carlos, everything seemed spontaneous but was actually seamless professionlism. Great conversation, a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and food of the area, great picks of things to see and do and flexibility to make our travels as easy as possible made for a wonderful adventure. Clearly Carlos is driven by a desire to make every visitor feel welcomed and valued. It was our first trip to SMA, and, thanks to GoCarlosTours, and Carlos in particular, we will be back.

We can certainly recommend Carlos as knowledgeable tour guide. We spent three days in SMA and had Carlos give us a private tour of SMA and Dolores Hidalgo. Besides being extremely knowledgeable about the history of these cities you can sense his pride of Mexico. Carlos arrived promptly at our appointed times and was sensitive to my wife’s mobility issues with the the many hills in SMA. I don’t think you can do better as a tour guide!

A young family of three, from overseas, we relied on heavily on Carlos Tour's transportation services for our trip visiting Guanajuato City and San Miguel de Allende. Communications with Carlos was excellent. Emails to pick up request were promptly returned and confirmed. Emanuel, an extremely courteous, professional young man, picked us up at the Leon/GTO airport and took us quickly to our hotel in Centro Historico de Guanajuato. He was also drove us to and back from SMA, always arriving on time. Overall was a pleasure to have Emanuel and Carlos (he picked up early in the morning to go to Leon/GTO airport and even reminded the night before about the impending summer time change, thank you Carlos!!!) to serve as our guide during our trip. Both fully bilingual and with both we carried on pleasant and informative conversations about the local attractions & folklore during our trips. Needlessly to say, I highly recommend Carlos Tour's services in GTO.

We asked Carlos Tours to arrange a daytrip for 5 of us from San Miguel de Allende to Guanajuato. We started on time and were impressed with Carlos' historical and current background knowledge of each area we traveled through. Carlos was flexible regarding any special "detours" and was able to make appropriate suggestions along the way. He was sensitive to our senior status regarding walking portions of our day. Carlos was very friendly, displaying humor and sharing even personal stories to make a point, or just to make conversation. His education and local ties were quite evident throughout the day. We highly recommend Carlos Tours and would certainly book with them again.
